Recently the online jobs market has experienced a huge surge in demand for freelance writers, which is providing a new income source for the unemployed, retirees, college students and stay at home mums and dads. More and more brick and mortar businesses are starting to get a presence online and this is creating demand for workers who can assist with writing articles, blog posts, newsletters and Facebook posts for businesses.
Freelance writers are anyone who works for businesses on a job by job basis, usually working online and from home. Writers who work in this capacity are very appealing to businesses because it saves the additional costs and overheads of hiring a full time staff member just to handle some of the additional writing work.
